Snowman Boxes

Here is the second part of our handmade holiday our packaging for the hard candy.
Supplies:
New chinese food boxes (approx $13/100 at Uline.com)
Pipe Cleaners – All colors
Multi Pack of Colored PomPoms
Black Sharpie Marker
Orange Sharpie Marker
Hot Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
We twisted a pipe cleaner around the wire handle of the box in different colors.  **Please note that high end pipe cleaners are easier on the hand when twisting them around the wire.  We found the cheaper pipe cleaners we used from Walmart were less fuzz and more metal stem and it really hurt after 50 or 60 boxes.

Then I drew on eyes and a mouth with a black sharpie marker. I used square dots to look like coal eyes and mouths.

Then Rosie drew on a carrot nose with an orange sharpie marker.

Once the faces were on we got out the hot glue gun and glued pompoms to the ends of the wire on either side of the snowman face.  Now the box looks like a snowman with earmuffs on.

We made 96 snowman boxes to give away to our coworkers and friends.  They were fun to make and fun to fill full of our handmade hard candy.
